Dawson Dispatch was created as an opportunity for the families and friends of Dawson Students to explore the community and to gain insight into student life. Feel free to explore the categories above and to dive into the Dawson News stories.
After almost a semester of hard work, journalists and editors Rider Neeb (‘26) & Carter Lewis (‘27) have created the new online digital newspaper, Dawson Dispatch.
The mission of the Dispatch is to provide an opportunity for Dawson students’ families and friends to explore the community and gain insight into student life. It also serves as an opportunity for future Dawson students to grasp what it’s like to be a student at this school.
Additionally, all the funniest and most interesting news articles are now permanently accessible to current students online via the website.
Rider hopes that the Dispatch will be used for many years to come, and even to make this an official website directly associated with Alexander Dawson School.
The two students worked closely with Snosites, a company specializing in website programming and design. After a few months of collaboration with the Snosites design team, the Dawson Dispatch is now up and running, filtering and adding the print publication stories into the dispatch.
They have taken specific elements from the brand manual, such as logos, fonts, colors, and more, and combined them all to keep the online newspaper on brand with Dawson’s core values.
