Open House just came to an end, a big deal for Dawson being a primary means of enrollment. As Rylie Cahill, a tour guide, explains: “They had buses running to take people up and down the hill, a buffet in the dining commons, a student panel, and they had two students for each tour group going around classes.”
On multiple occasions, the panel of five students answered prospective students and parents’ questions for almost an hour, Rylie explaining that they “asked some great questions, allowing me to appreciate all the opportunities I am given.” Open house highlights Dawson’s tight-knit community and exceptionally small class sizes, something we as students may take for granted.
