Through a lava tunnel with the visible layers of rock of where the lava used to be, it had a quiet and dim atmosphere. With a soft lighting of lamps put in place, and the faint smell of a damp enclosed area was crowding us. With water dripping and the echoey yet quiet presence, you could hear the water dropping into puddles. Halfway through the tunnel, we encountered a part in the tunnel where the opening was so narrow we had to crawl. A sturdy yet muddy wooden plank was stretched from one side to the other, and with a camera in my right hand, the wooden plank in my left, I carefully made my way across.
